For new players it can be hard to grok, who’s winning the current trick. Some feedback that reached my inbox today at least claimed that that’s the case.

I think that’s a fair point. To help new players to better understand who’s winning the current trick, we’re introducing a new game setting today. Just activate the new “Highlight trick winner” setting in the game (click the settings icon in the top left corner) and the game will highlight the current trick’s winning card in real-time. This works well as support for novice players. Once you’re more experienced, you can simply deactivate this setting and use your noggin to figure out who’s winning.

While we’re here: If you want to see the previous trick once more, you can simply click the (i) icon in the top left corner. We’ve got something new here, too: We always highlight the winner of the previous trick.

I hope this makes the game a little more accessible and helps learn the ropes.
