A Better Hand
Today we’re releasing a small but pretty cool new feature for everyone who wants to up their Solo game (and for all the little cheaters out there).
You can re-shuffle all cards and let the game deal a new hand. Just like that, as often as you like, without any judgement from other players. Simply press this little button when the game asks you if you want to declare any reservations:
Doppelkopf Club’s singleplayer mode’s main focus is to give players a place to practice and improve their game. To play a solo successfully against three opponents you need a suitable hand. As a rule of thumb you should be confident that you’re going to win at least 6 tricks. In a regular game it can take quite some time to randomly receive a hand that’s suited for a solo. You can now take the game’s randomness into your own hands and use this feature to get a hands that’s solo-proof.
Obviously you can also use this feature to get rid of any poor hand and fudge your chances of winning. Since this is a singleplayer game, there are no consequences. The AI players won’t judge. But you might take the fun and challenge out of the game if you do this. Maybe it’s best to stay clear from the “re-shuffle” button for regular games. Otherwise this is like cheating in a game of solitaire: You can do it, but it’s kinda pointless.
